Peaceful rest
We've had a wonderful visit with my family in southeast Colorado. Mom and Dad are doing well and have made our stay a relaxing one. My sister Edna and her husband Mike have been very busy with the activities of their oldest son, Cory, who is a valuable player on the local baseball team. They have been in the playoffs and have shown themselves to be real contenders. They'll be heading to the championship playoffs in Liberal, Kansas tomorrow. Best of luck to them and congratulations to Cory. This is a chance in a lifetime!
I've had time to finally relax and enjoy being here. Sure, there's still that "house" thing sort of hanging out there but our representative is working hard to sell it and we expect things to happen soon. There's also the uncertainty of the future but some research I've done has shown interesting possibilties in the area where we'd like to be. Our next stop will probably be Silverton. I follow God's leading. He has never failed me yet.
Got to spend some time with Mike yesterday, working with him to get his internet presence up and running. Still in some planning stages but be on the lookout for his debut. He builds useful and delightful items for the home. I'll be providing the URL for Country Creations (his company) when things are in place. Be sure to stop by and have a look at what he offers.
We will probably be heading out of here sometime tomorrow. We had planned to go north to visit with my sister Cheryl and brother Marvin and his family but we aren't the only ones with summer activities. They are both on vacation next week (Marvin and clan out of the state) so we'll probably get settled in and come back down to visit after they get back.
If you're wondering... no, this is not the end of this blog. Are you kidding? We're just getting started. Reaching the destination is only a small part of what we are doing so stay tuned. I may be out of reach for a while so updates may be interrupted until I can get set up in our new place.
