Short, but encouraging

The work I did was only a three day stint but the company that contacted me apparently has contacts all around this area so I think I'll probably hear from them again in the near future. At least I hope so. Haven't heard a peep out of all the other applications I've sent in. Rather discouraging.

We finalized the closing on the house so that burden is now lifted. Next is permanent (or at least regular) employment and a more permanent place to live. Lot of stuff available around here, especially for sale. Most of the places are in town and more than we need. We figure on renting for a while anyway until we've had time to see the area and decide where we'd prefer to locate. It's all very nice. We drove out to Divide, Florissant, and Lake George last weekend and looked around some. It's more open, and there's a lot of development going on in Divide. Nice area but it may be too far out. We'll see.

How 'bout them Broncos!? If you didn't get to see the first quarter of the game last night against Oakland, you missed some beautiful offense. I've missed watching them play. Looks like they could be real contenders this year. It was refreshing, even if it was a massacre. Of course, after seeing what FSU did to CU Saturday, we needed something...

We've had just beautiful weather here the last week. Sunny and warm (but not too much) during the day and very cool nights. Looks like the rain has moved on for now. The Aspens are starting to turn and it looks like it's going to be a beautiful fall.
