Spring?

I hope eveyone had a great Easter.

Everyone is beginning to wonder if spring is ever going to come. We've had some odd weather lately. It not all that unusual for the mountains to get snow this time of year -- or even later. Seems odd to have it acting this way on the plains though. But remember--- this IS Colorado. It does this from time to time. Monday was warm and sunny with the temperatures hitting the 70 degree mark in Colorado Springs. It was that way yesterday morning too. Then around midday things started changing. By afternoon it was snowing in the city. Naturally there wasn't much accumulation but it was a bit of shock for those of us leaving our jackets in the car thinking the warm weather would continue. Fun! Driving up the pass was no problem. Just bare and wet. Even so, the evidence lie all around for all to see. I don't think we got more than a couple of inches. Nothing like last week. That was around a foot of snow to dig out from. Even so, it's why I live here. I love the mountains, the snow, the people, and the small town life. It's good to be home.
